イビザのチルアウト系サウンドを紹介する日本発のレーベルIbiza Chillout Loungeのために自ら選曲した“Ibiza Sunset Session”のリリース記念パーティが開催
会場は地上42階にあり東京で最も夜景が素晴らしいと言われるXEX愛宕グリーンヒルズ
ラグジャリーなエンタテイメント空間として知られるXEX愛宕のレストランスペースが初めて全面解放されるミュージック・イベント
リリースアルバムはチルアウトのコンピレーションだが、イベントではレニーはプログレッシッブ・ハウスをベースにしたダンス・チューンをロング・セッション・プレイ
また日野皓正、渡辺香津美、近藤等則ら、トップ・クラスのジャズ・ミュージシャンやミックス・マスター・モーリス、レニー・イビザール、JIMPSTER、キム・カスコーン、ビル・ラズウェル、細野晴臣らともコラボしているKay NakayamaもDJとして参加
JOE CLAUSELLに認められカフェ・デル・マールの25周年記念CDにも参加したJOIと湘南を代表する伝説的なパーティーFreedomSunsetのオーガナイザーでもあるShibaのライブも特別な夜を演出
オープニングは先日リッツ・カールトン・ホテルでのDole Premier PartyでDJとファションショーモデルを務めたDJQP

Lenny Ibizarre broke into Ibiza's music scene in 1997 with his debut album The Ambient Collection: "An amalgamation of slow-burning funked-up retro-grooves clad in subliminal soundscapes of tender melancholy and inner peace", as the press put it at the time.
The album received great reviews from both the critics and chill-out DJs such as Jose Padilla from Cafe Del Mar with whom Lenny remixed and co-produced for a period of time.
Within a year Lenny was remixing artists such as the Doors, Bob Dylan and Bob Marley. His Remix of Riders on the Storm made its mark and Lenny was called to produce his first movie soundtracks.
Lenny Ibizarre proved himself as one the most successful producers in Chill-Out music, when The Chilled Ibiza Team's compilation Chilled Ibiza with Warner UK went multi-platinum.
Having firmly established himself as one of the driving forces of the Ibiza Chill-Out scene through continuous contributions to the best selling compilations, such as Cafe Del Mar
Whilst his productions encapsulate Ibiza's laid back Balearic Groove his DJ sets can range from upbeat ambient to tight progressive house. Lenny's Ibizarre's DJ sessions have become legendary in Ibiza as his passion for music transpires in sets that can easily last 6 hours.

During that time he performed contemporary art using early computer graphics and live music in Tokyo clubs. In 1992 His solo debut release “Laura Palmer’s Theme” as SOMETHING WONDERFUL produced by Haruomi Hosono who is an ex member of YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra). Kay has been active alongside major artists, as a producer, composer and DJ both nationally and internationally. This has established his unique sound that is a mixture of ambient and dance music.
In 1996 he started his own record label CHILLSCAPE. His original track was licensed and released by Chillscape (Japan), Virgin Records (France), Matsuri Productions (U.K), Pokar Flat (German),Bambola Records (U.K), Return to the Source (U.K), Istar (Itaria),
Fair Way Records (France), Tempest Recordings (Australia), Brownswood[U.K] ,etc. Also one of his more recent track is in the movie Bollywood Queen by Jaremy Wooding.
As well as collaborations with various musicians such as Haruomi Hosono,Yukihiro Takahashi( Y.M.O),Graham Massey (808 State),Bill Laswell, a living national treasure Noh Syonosuke Okura, Mixmaster Morris, Lenny Ibizarre and Kim Cascone etc.
in 2000 he formed the project “INTELLIGENT JAZZ” with the Drummer Akira Jimbo. It is based on a new jazz spirit with an experiment real jazz and electronic sounds. They are repeatedly having gigs with Bob James, the first Japanese jazz musician to sign the contract with Blue Note Records Terumasa Hino (Trumpeter), Jamie Odell of Bays/Jimpster (Keyboardist & Producer), Kazumi Watanabe (Guitarist), Toshinori Kondo (Trumpeter) and with many more top artists.
Kay is one of the leading ambient and jazz producer.

King of Ambient and Ibiza's Legend, Lenny Ibizarre, will make a special visit to Japan!
It is an album release party of “Ibiza Chillout Lounge”?Ibiza Sunset Session of which all the music was selected by Lenny.
The venue is XEX Atago Greenhills on the 42nd floor that boasts the best night view of Tokyo.
Known as the luxurious entertainment space, XEX will for the first time in its history, open all the bar and restaurant area for a music event.
Though the album is a compilation of chillout music Lenny will play a special long session of dance tunes with Progressive House to keep your feet twirl on the floor.

Opening will be done by DJQP who just played a DJ and fashion show model for Dole Premier Party at Ritz Carlton Hotel.
DJ Vivid will also play his eccentric dance tunes and a popular dance unit "Anna & Mitsuki" will stir up the floor.
The new history of Tokyo night entertainment will begin here with the spectacular panoramic view in early summer of 2011.
