ハードロックやニューウェーブなどの音楽を聴き始めたOliver Schmitzは、その後Industrial Technoや80年代のAcidハウスに強い影響を受けエレクトリックミュージックに目覚める。以降様々な音楽を通じて現在のバレアリック・スタイルのテクノ・ハウスの制作を開始する。現在までにJohn Dahlback、 Kurd Maverick、Barbara Tucker、Tobbi Numann（Cocoon Records） などのリミックスを手掛けて高い評価を得る一方、実兄である（Amensia Ibiza)＆Mar-TAmensia Ibiza)との楽曲制作やバルセロナ随一のTech-Houseレーベルとして有名なFresco RecordsでのRemix Worksを経てRobbie Riveraの運営するJuicy Musicに専属アーティストとして参加。Robbieとの共同名義でリリースした"I want candy"がRoger Sanchez （ロジャーサンチェス）などヨーロッパの主要DJ達がPlayしスマッシュヒットとなり、日本国内でもTei Towaが自身のコンピレーションに収録するなどその活動が注目されている。またバルセロナのプロデューサーAlex Del amoとのレーベル、Studiotech Recordingsへの参加など今後ますます目が離せないクリエイターである。

Oliver Schmitz is an artist for Juicy Music U.S.A and Fresco Records Barcelona.Producer of international top 10 club hits like "I want candy" and "Shake" among others.
Born and raised in a strong musical environment spanning from Hard Rock to New Wave and from Industrial Techno to the late 80s Acid House music,this producer defines himself as a studio rat surrounded by technology. Oliver Schmitz musical career has gone through some unimaginable paths; coming from the darkest and most radical techno, passing through the mediterranean Balearic house and the most innovative electronic music from the 90s to the present day. Some of his most outstanding work includes collaborations and re-mixes with artist such as John Dahlback, Kurd Maverick, Robbie Rivera,Barbara Tucker and Tobbi Numann of Cocoon Records, amongst many others. Oliver currently works with both his brother, Les Schmitz, and Mar-T, the well-known resident DJs of one of the most important clubs in the world: AMNESIA (Ibiza). In 2008 he joins forces with Girona based producer Alex Del amo to create "Studiotech Recordings" a new label focused in minimal and electro-house. Oliver is also a memeber of the Fresco Records production & dj team.
