Described by the Rolling Stones Magazine as “the most pictorial composer-programmer in laptop electronica”, Fennesz uses guitar and computer to create shimmering, swirling electronic sound of enormous range and musical complexity. His recent collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto, a legendary Japanese musician, has received the highest international acclaim culminating in a collaborative album released in 2007. When not traveling, Christian Fennesz lives in Paris and Vienna, Austria.
