イギリス／ウェールズ出身の TOM ELLIS はファンク、ジャズ、ロック、ハウス、テクノのエッセンスを取り入れた新しいダンスミュージックを作曲しています。最近ではMinibarや Telegraphなどからも精力的にリリースし、世界中の音楽メディアに取り上げられ、Akufen、Richie Hawtin、Daniel Bell、Magda等も彼のトラックをプレイしています。
２００４年に Leif と共に立ち上げたTrimsoundのレーベルでは、ハードウェアシーケンサー、ラップトップと生のベースギターを使った「Trimsound Live」ユニットとしてライブパフォーマンスを数多く行ってます。

TOM ELLIS, from Wales/UK, composes unique and highly distinctive blend of minimal house and techno with the essence of funk, jazz and rock. His releases on Telegraph, Minibar and more then 20 other labels received glowing reviews from music press around the world and are often played by such artists as Akufen, Richie Hawtin, Daniel Bell and Magda. In 2004 Tom Ellis started Trimsound record label in collaboration Leif who they often perform together as “Trimsound Live” unit where they combine hardware sequencers, laptop and live bass guitar.
