1997年から2000年にかけてNYのTwiloが全盛だった時代に、初めて DJとしてターンテーブル前にデビュー、マンハッタンやブルックリンの多くのクラブでDJを務め、イースト・ビレッジのLiquidsで初めてレジデン ト・DJとなる。モントリオールのMax GrahamやマニラのKatrina Razonを始めとする多くのDJとの交友を通じて、常にミニマル、テック・ハウス、プログレッシブミュージックの最新のリミックスやトレンドに触れ、提 供している。彼は、バンコクのMinistry of SoundやNYのPink Elephant、MarquisといったクラブでもDJとして活動した実績を持ち、最近は2008年より砂漠の薔薇/Desert Roseで定期的にゲスト・DJを務めながら、2009年夏に向け彼のオリジナル・トラックをリリースすべく制作を進
DJ Trey got his start back in the late 90s New York club scene, DJying everything from rooftop parties in the Lower East Side to cutting-edge East Village, SoHo and Lower East Side music spots, such as Liquids, Satellite and Void. He played a few opening sets at some larger venues as well, such as Womb (home to the legendary Sasha & Digweed residency) and in the 2000s, Marquis and Pink Elephant in the Meat Packing District. DJ Trey revived his DJing life in Tokyo in 2008, beginning a semi-residency at Desert Rose in Ginza (Sabakunobara). He is currently working on the release of his own house music productions and slated to play a few gigs in New York, Boston and Montreal this summer?in addition to several venues in Tokyo.
