サウスロンドン、ボグスホールにあるクラブ"EAGLE "にて毎週日曜日に行われている世界中で最も熱いディスコパーティーがHORSE MEAT DISCOだ。JAMES HILLARD、JIM STANTON、SEVERINO、LUKE HOWARDによるこのパーティーは2003年にスタートし、当初はロンドンのアンダーグランドシーンを代表するゲイパーティーの１つであったが、DANIELE BALDELLI、IDJUT BOYS、PRINS THOMASを始め、世界中から素晴らしいゲストを招き(2009年には、日本から初のゲストとしてKZAも出演)、2009年にはK7'傘下のSTRUTからMIX CDをリリースし一気に注目を集めることとなった。
2010年にはMIX CDの第二弾をリリース、そしてクラブギグ等を飛び越し何とFUJI ROCK FESTIVALへ出演し話題になったのは記憶に新しい。

HORSE MEAT DISCO is the worlds hottest disco party, pumping it out every Sunday at The Eagle, Vauxhall (South London). The party started in 2003 organized by JAMES HILLARD, JIM STANTON, SEVERINO and LUKE HOWARD, as one of the premier gay nights on the London underground scene. It was attended by many fabulous guests from all over the world, including DANIELE BALDELLI, IDJUT BOYS, PRINS THOMAS and their first Japanese guest KZA performed in 2009. They made a huge splash since their debut compilation in 2009 on the K7 affiliated label STRUT. HORSE MEAT DISCO released 2nd compilation in 2010, as well as their perfomance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL certianly fresh in our memory.
In 2003, HORSE MEAT DISCO came in to the world at the small pub in Vauxhall, South London, as a small gay party. Their freewheeling and high musicianship gained popularity and quickly became one of the most popular club-nights in London, with well over hundred people turning up every Sunday. In recent years HORSE MEAT DISCO sounds rang out at many famous festivals all over the world, including Glastonbury. Their 1st compilation album released in 2009 gained high reviews, riding the wave of disco dub/nu disco. The aim of HORSE MEAT DISCO is to create a space which encourages happiness, with a free and energetic atmosphere. It completely captures what London nightlife is about. If you are more concerned with "How" and not "Why" you enjoy your music HORSE MEAT DISCO is the place for you.
