1982年にブリストルにて結成された伝説的DJクルーThe Wild Bunch。Nellee Hopper、Daddy Gと三人で結成。The Wild Bunch解散後、Daddy G、3D、DJ MushroomはMassive Attackを結成。Nellee HooperはSoul II Soulに加入。Massive AttackとSoul II Soulの母体となったのが、この伝説のユニットThe Wild Bunchである。その後の音楽シーンに多大な影響を与えたクリエイターが在籍したチームとして、その名は半ば伝説となっている。
そのワイルド・バンチを結成した中心人物がDJ Milo。先述した"ブリストル勢"の成功に背を向けるように1989年にニューヨークに移住して以来、アンダーグラウンドに潜行。決してリリース量は多くないものの、STRUTからのミックスCD『The Wild Bunch The Story Of A Sound System』など、一貫して好事家をうならせる作品をリリースしてきた。また日本との縁も深く、MAJOR FORCEのリミックスを手掛けたり、自己名義での初オリジナル・アルバム『Suntoucher』（2003年）も日本のDIMIDよりリリースしている。
そして、2010年には DJ Nature 名義にて New York 気鋭のアンダーグラウンド・ディスコ・レーベル Golf Channel と日本が世界に誇る Jazzy Sport からリリース。また、NIKE、SOPH. 等のアパレルとのコラボレーションも盛んに行っている。
現在は、ブリストル、ロンドン、日本を経由して New York はハーレムへと活動拠点を移し、真のアンダーグラウンドミュージックを追求し続けている。
First started releasing material in 1991 with the “Ruff Disco EP vol 1” ep on his own Ruff Disco records, followed that with his “necessary ruffness vol1&2” in 1992 and remix for Carl Craig/Naomi Daniel-“feel the fire”. Put out the “Ruff Disco” album on Felix Ortiz’s NYC based “Black label” and various material on “Tomato records” in the UK. Even though his Dj. Nature project was on an upward swing on the underground house scene he shelved the project to pursue other interests. 20 years later Dj nature re-embarked on the project by releasing his “live at the cat club NYC ‘79” Disco mix cd followed by “live at Peachtree’s NYC ‘79” disco mixed cd. Soon after that linking up with “Golf Channel” and “Jazzy Sport” for another 2 year stint into the underground club scene. His releases since this second venture includes “ruff disco Vol 3” 2 x12” featuring “destiny reprise” which was licensed to ministry of sound underground disco compilation , Fwd Evr e.p 2 x “12 featuring “Everyone” which was voted on numerous top 10 record of the year lists for 2010 ,both releases on “golf Channel recordings”. Necessary Ruffness vol.3 and “Suntoucher remixes” both on ”Jazzy Sport”. Remixed Kaspar’s- whatchadoo (groovement records) and Zepp001- dearly beloved (delusions of grandeur) . He has an album due out on Golf Channel early this year and an album for Jazzy Sport to follow.
