^DJ GIZMO KILLED THE STRIPES

平日から脅威の動員数を誇る話題のカルチャーパーティー『TO GOTHICS』を主宰するARATA NAKAMURAと、ロックバンド『ムック(MUCC)』 のギタリスト兼メインコンポーザーであり『1979』として神出鬼没のオールミックスパーティー『MOGWAI』を主宰するMasaaki YaguchiによるDJユニット。2011年2月にm-floの☆Taku Takahashiによる『TACHYTELIC』でのメインフロアウォームアップにおいて突如その産声をあげ、結成1週間足らずにして100人もの集客を記録。ウォームアップからフロアは人で溢れ、その存在感を大きくアピールした。これをきっかけに、その後もゲスト出演のオファーを多数受け、各所で熱いDJ GIGを繰り返している。テクノ、エレクトロを主軸にロック系マッシュアップを多く取り入れ、それぞれの持つバックグラウンドを最大限に引き出す独自のアッパースタイルは、いかなる状況においてもフロアの全クラウドの体を瞬時に惹きつけ、大きな波を創る。ロックとクラブミュージックのボーダーを縦横無尽に行き来し、夜ごとに拳を上げ続ける、今後も大注目の2人組！！

DJ unit composed of ARATA NAKAMURA, the organizer of the much talked about culture party “TO GOTHICS” which has been attended by large numbers of guests, and Masaaki Yaguchi, the guitarist and main composer of the rock band MUCC and organizer of the club event “MOGWAI” under his alias 1979. In February 2011, merely one week after its formation, the unit made its first appearance as warm-up act at the event “TACHYTELIC”, produced by m-flo’s Taku Takahashi, where it managed to gather a stunning hundred people on the dance floor. After that, the two received many guest performance offers and have repeatedly played energetic DJ sets at various places and events. Their musical backgrounds are reflected in their characteristic rockish electro/techno DJ style, freely crossing the borders between rock and club music, which in an instant electrifies the crowd on the dance floor. A DJ duo you should surely keep an eye on!
