コッテルとは、アイスランド語で”猫”の意味。
聴き手を一瞬で引き込む魅惑的な歌声を持つ千代のソロプロジェクト。
Electronica?Ambient?Neo-PsychedelicファンからChill Outミュージック・ファンまで
幅広く魅了する深く幻想感溢れる音像世界。
自ら紡ぎ出す詞と音の世界はオーガニックとエレクトロニカが絡み合い普遍的なサウンドに進化していく。
2007 結成。
2010 7月 omotesando Records(OMOTES)よりミニアルバム "nukonomad" 発売。
映像作家の品川亮監督による「ぬこのま」ミュージックビデオ製作。
2011 千代のソロユニットになる。
様々なスタイルでゲストミュージシャンを交えながら自主企画 " おとのとびら " を開催。
都内を中心に、北京でもライブを 行うなど幅広く活動中。

kottur stands for ‘a cat’ in Icelandic.
It is a solo-project by Chiyo, an owner of an attractive voice which draw listeners into her world instantly.
It is deep and fantastic world of audio and music, which capture wide range of music fans ? from Electronica~Ambient ~Neo Psychedelic to Chill out music.
Her world of lyrics and sounds, woven by herself, develop into universal sound, mixed with organic and electronica.
Formed in 2007.
In July, 2010, mini album, ‘Nukonomad’ was released.
Music video ‘Nukonomad’ by a film director Ryo Shinagawa, was released.
From 2011, it changed to be an solo-unit by Chiyo.
She is working on her own project ‘Oto no tobira’, together with some guest musicians in various styles.
She gives live performances such as in Beijing, but mainly in Tokyo.
This is kottur.
It's a song, to reach to the light.
Write and sing. Sing and write.
I've got so many things given and received, since the day I was born.
I thank the music, all the people I've met, my family, and the nature.
I'll get on with my life, embracing them all.
It is a time of release, when I sing and got deeper with the sound.
Then my body is fulfilled completely.
