^DJ Mark Mood a.k.a. Discount City

Coming from the Midwest on the outskirts of Chicago, Marko has always been influenced by blues, r&b , jazz, funk, and soul. But, It wasn't until he arrived in Tokyo that he realized his love for Electronic music and the culture it came with. He bought his first dj set up and within 6 months he had his first gig at Liqudroom in Ebisu as a guest for Ray Ban. Soon gigs at premier events at Velours, and AIR followed. As the years went by Marko's sound developed a more defined underground vibe. Deep house and techno with a touch of his Chicago Midwest roots. He recently started his own event FOUNDATION along with Residency at Jam Renaissence. This is only the beginning and keep your ears and eyes out for this upcoming talent.
