2000年からUSやアジアのクラブやイベントを中心に活動を開始。2002年にスキルアップとライブの為に日本に移り、東京のクラブにのめり込む。そして、2005年3月にMark Cunninghamというステージ・ネームの元、初の国際ギグを開催。ShinkawaやYo*C など日本で人気のあるDJたちに招待されてVelfarreにてプレイする。翌年の夏に中国チンタオのインターナショナル・ビアー・フェスティバルにてプレイ、2007夏に再び中国に戻り、地元のクラブMBOXとClub NY.にて活動。米国に戻ってからはPlatonikとステージ・ネームを変更し、テクノエレクトロ系にフォーカスして回し始める。新しいステージ・ネームの元2008年夏に日本に戻り、大宮の444 Quadのギグに参加。今後は場所を問わずにテクノエレクトロを中心に精力的に活動して行きます。今は新しい曲とミックス作って頑張ってます。
長い時間、DJから離れていましたが、2012年２月から、日本のclubに復活します！
DJとプロデュースを織り交ぜながら、ユニークサウンドを作っていきます。

Mark has been playing clubs and events in the US and Asia since his start in 2000. In 2002 he moved to Japan to study and live, and fell in love with Japan’s club scene. In March 2005, under the stage name Mark Cunningham, he played his first international gig. He was invited to play with major name Japanese djs, Shinkawa and Yo*C, at Tokyo’s luxurious megaclub, Velfarre.
The next summer he was in the air again on the way to play at The International Beer Festival in Qingdao, China(2006). He returned to China in 2007 where he took up a residency at 2 local clubs, MBOX and Club NY. After a few months of smoke machines and lasers he returning to the States, and started spinning a deeper, sexier techno groove. With the new stage name, Platonik, he returned to Japan in the summer of 2008 to pick up a gig at Omiya’s 444 Quad Club in Saitama.
After a LONG time away from the decks Mark has come back to Japan to pursue synths and baselines that get bodies bouncing on the dancefloor. Working with software and production he is pushing the boundaries between djing and production to create a unique groove. Expect more to come in the future. No music, no art, no life.
