ニューヨーク郊外で育ったJosh Bess（ジョシュ・ベッス）は幼い頃から音楽に携ってきた。
ドラマーとして数多くのニューヨークの著名なクラブで演奏。彼の年齢のミュージシャンには珍しい高レベルの経験を積む。
ライブ活動から身につけた知識とスタジオでのプロダクション能力を駆使して、音楽を作り出す。２０１１年、大人気デジタル音楽 ソフト「Ableton Live」の認定講師となる。
現在、Bess（ベッス）はライブ音楽、即興、エレクトロニック、パーカッション楽器のループを使って独自のエレクトロニックミュージックを作成中。彼のライブパフォーマンスは聴くためだけのものではなく、ステージセットやパフォーマンスでビジュアル面でも楽しませる。
Josh Bess is a percussionist and electronic artist, currently based out of New York. Growing up just outside of New York City, he has been involved with music from an early age, performing with multiple artists, and employing a wide variety of styles. Alongside performing, Josh developed an interest in the audio production of music, and went on to attend schooling for Audio Engineering and Jazz Commercial Performance, soon becoming an Ableton Certified Trainer in 2011.
In addition to performing in his more commonly known original group, 'VulpesVulpes,' Josh also works on his own solo material under the name 'Bess', involving the use of live, improvised, and looped percussive instruments fused with his knowledge and ear for electronics.
