^DJ Cash

DJ Cash’s music career started in 1983 at the age of 13, performing as a DJ at youth clubs and community radio stations throughout Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1991, at the age of 21, he moved to Japan on invitation from Afrika Islam (the Universal Zulu Nation) to participate in the pioneering of the Hip Hop culture in Japan. Since those early days, DJ Cash has been involved in countless concerts and nationwide tours with world-renowned Hip Hop artists including Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dog.† In addition to DJ’ing in clubs all over Japan, DJ Cash is the DJ of choice for VIP and after parties for the likes of Missy Elliot, The Neptunes, NBA superstar Michael Jordan, Kanye West, Brad Pitt...the list goes on and on.

The Japanese media took notice of Cash’s musical talents, with radio and TV spots following. He founded the Hip Hop label Handcuts Records, releasing albums of Pete Rock, Marley Marl and The Pharcyde to name a few. At the moment Cash is producing Japanese and international artists.
