アンダーグラウンド・ハウスミュージックシーンを牽引するひとりとして、確固たる地位を確立したPaolo Mojo。精力的なプロダクションで世界中から引く手あまた。[Mojo Magic]を経験したことのない国はほとんど残されていないといっても過言ではない。WOMB(東京)、Ministry of Sound(ロンドン)、Avalon(ロサンゼルス)、Warungin(ブラジル)、Wonderland(イビサ)、Chinese Laundry(シドニー)、Zouk(シンガポール)等、数々の世界的トップ・ヴェニューから高く評価されている。"Engine Room""All Night Alright"、Zenbiとの共作"Pitch Black"、伝説的リミックス作Filthy Rich"Love Lost"(Neurotraxx Deluxe)、"Wasted Youth"(Deeperfect)と立て続けに5作品がBeatportジャンル別トップ10に入りヒットが止まらない2011年であった。代表作"Crazy For You"(Noir)、"Disco Kiss"(Hysterical)、"He's The Man"(Younan Music)、"1983"(Pryda Friends)は世界中で定番曲となった。所属外アーティストとして唯一Pryda、Mousevilleから楽曲をリリースしており、他にもStereo、Saved、NRK、Cr2、Bedrock、Toolroom、Renaissance、Great Stuff、Positiva、EQ Recordings、Factomania、Little Mountain、Curfew Nervous、Ego Records等々、多数のレーベルからのリリースを果たしてきた。また、彼の活動の中心となる自身のレーベルOoshよりリリースされたトラックは、この3年で2度に渡りBBC Essential New Tunesに選出され、Beatport総合トップ10を獲得。"JMJ"(2007)と"Sirena"(2008)はPete TongにBBC Radio One「夏のベストチューン」に選ばれ、今ではWally Lopez、Rene Amesz、Yellow、Noir、Jim Rivers、Juan Sanchez、King Unique, Alan Fitspatrick、Saeed Younanといったハウス、テクノ・プロデューサーを巻き込み更なる発展を見せる。2009年12月に開始した「Ooshcast」は、最も人気のあるポッドキャストとなった。2011年2月には自身初のアルバム"Ten To One"をリリース。2012年初旬にはOosh、Deeperfect(Italy)やZenbi(USA)などに加え、UNER(Cadenza, Diynamic)やHardton(I.D. Paolo Mojo is firmly established as a leading light on the underground house music scene with a large global following and a consistent production schedule that keeps him in demand all over the world.

A true ‘international’, there are not many countries that haven’t had a touch of the Mojo magic these days. He's earned himself a formidable global fan base thanks to his hectic schedule…Womb in Tokyo, Ministry of Sound in London, Avalon in Los Angeles, Warungin Brazil, Wonderland in Ibiza, Chinese Laundry in Sydney and Zouk in Singapore are just some of the venues he graces consistently.

It’s all built on the back of a consistent, high profile discography. 2011 saw five consecutive Top 10 Beatport genre releases in a row - from his own singles Engine Room and All Night Alright, to the collaboration Pitch Black with Zenbi, his now legendary remix of Filthy Rich Love Lost on Neurotraxx Deluxe to the single Wasted Youth on Deeperfect, the hits kept flowing throughout 2011.

Previously successful singles were released on Noir (Crazy For You) Hysterical (Disco Kiss) and Younan Music (He's The Man) and his track 1983 on Eric Prydz’ Pryda Friends has become a true club classic. He’s also released tracks on Pryda and Mouseville (the only ‘outside’ artist to do so) and a varied and vast list of other labels.. Stereo, Saved, NRK, Cr2, Bedrock, Toolroom, Renaissance, Great Stuff, Positiva, EQ Recordings, Factomania, Little Mountain, Curfew Nervous, Ego Records.. the list goes on.

At the heart of his work lies his own label Oosh, which over the course of the last three years has landed him two BBC Essential New Tunes and two Beatport overall top ten hits. Pete Tong also named ‘JMJ’ (2007) and ‘Sirena’ (2008) his ‘top tunes of the summer.

The label has expanded to include the cream of house and techno producers such as Wally Lopez, Rene Amesz, DJ Yellow, Noir, Jim Rivers, Juan Sanchez, King Unique, Alan Fitzpatrick and Saeed Younan. His associated podcast Ooshcast has become one of the most popular downloads available since its launch in December 2009.

Early 2012 will also see further releases for Deeperfect (Italy) and Zenbi (USA), a revamped Oosh with Paolo leading the new release scheduleand collaborations with both UNER (Cadenza, Diynamic) and Hardton (International DJ Gigolos, Cocoon).

Its no surprise then, that he was name checked as one of the hottest producers of the year in 2008 by Pete Tong on BBC Radio One, and has scored two well received Essential mixes for Radio One already.

On the compilation front he has been described by IDJ Magazine as ‘the master of the mix cd’ For evidence of this look no further than his award winning Balance 009 for EQ Recordings, now regarded as something of a classic mix compilation, or his Renaissance Digital 001.

With an astonishing work ethic in the studio and his endless special re-edits, he's an innovative DJ whose enviable technical ability and a thriving, huge loyal underground fanbase ensure that he will remain a star of the scene for many years to come.
