1980年代後半からHip Hopを聞き始め1992年にNYに行き本場の音楽＆Clubシーンに衝撃を受け、1993年よりDJ活動をスタート。
毎週火曜日のモンスターParty"RED ZONE"@Harlem等では幅広い選曲とミックスセンスでHip Hop DJとしての地位を確立している。
海外の有名アーティストとの共演や数々の日本を代表するCLUBでGUEST DJとして活躍中。
現在ROC TRAXのメンバーで、彼独自のジャンルレスなスタイルが人気でありHip Hopのみならず、他ジャンルを嗜好する音楽ファンをも魅了し日本のCLUBシーンに多大な影響を与え続けている。
ほかにも制作活動や雑誌、Radioの出演など勢力的に活動。
またダンスチームROOTSのメンバーでもあり日本のハウスダンスのオリジネータの一人である。

DJ KANGO
DJ Kango began his career as a DJ in 1993 after travelling to New York in 1992 and experiencing the club scene. Broadening his mix sense at the monster party Red Zone in Harlem every Tuesday he has established a commanding position in the hip hop DJ fraternity, and has played alongside many top overseas artists at most of Japan’s leading venues. He also works as a producer and on production for radio and TV. He is also noteworthy as a member of dance team ROOTS, and is an originator of the Japanese house dance style.
