95年のデビュー以来、国内外を問わず多くの音楽ファンをとらえて放さないフィジカルなダンストラックを作り続けるクリエイター/DJ。02年秋にはセカンドアルバム『STAR ARTS』をリリース。03年夏には盟友DJ TASAKAとのユニットDISCO TWINSでMIX-CDをリリース、それにともなったツアーを行う。WIREへの連続の出演も成功させ、オランダ最大のダンスミュージックフェスティバル"DANCE VALLEY2003"への出演も経験した。
GROSSO MODO PRODUCTION傘下レーベルの音源をフィーチャーしたMIX-CD『GOLDEN SILVER mixed by KAGAMI』のリリース、shop33とのコラボ企画シングル「shop33 EP」への参加など意欲的に活動を続けている。
2004年3月には石野卓球氏主宰のレーベルPlatikからWIRE02とWIRE03でのライヴの模様を収めたライヴ盤『WIRE GIGS』をリリース。昨年は、香港、ドイツツアーを行い、ワールドワイドに活動した。
最近では、テレビアニメ『 交響詩篇 エウレカセブン』劇中曲、「Tiger Track」のリリースや、リミキサーとしてCARIZMAからDAVID VENDETTAによる「PARTY PEOPLE」、そしてアルファ「不知火」を手がけるなどフレキシブルに活動。
2005年8月には3作目のアルバム『Spark Arts』をリリースし、クラブ・ミュージックに留まらないエリアでのファンを拡大。2006年3月にはミックスCD『PAH』をリリースし、8月には吉川晃司、ギターウルフのセイジ、ライムスターの宇多丸、ポラリスのオオヤユウスケ、そしてカオリなど多数のヴォーカリストを迎え制作されたDJ TASAKAとのユニットDISCO TWINSのフル・アルバム『TWINS DISCO』を発表している。
DJ、プロデューサー、リミキサーとしてテクノを中心にボーダーレスな活動を続ける才気溢れるクリエイター。

Since his debut in 1995, Kagami has been making dance tracks as a creator/DJ.
After releasing his second album in fall 2002, he created a unit called Disco Twins
with his good friend DJ TASAKA. Soon they released a mix CD and toured around.
He managed to make his appearance at WIRE, the biggest indoor dance music festival in Japan,
two years in a row. He also played at the biggest dance music festival "DANCE VALLEY 2003"
in Holland. He made a mix CD "Golden Silver mixed by KAGAMI" featuring tracks from
the record label under Grosso Modo Production. Always full of motivation, he made
a track in "shop22 EP" in collaboration with shop33. In March 2004, he released a live
recordings of WIRE02/WIRE03 from Takkyu Ishino(from Denki Groove)'s label Platik.
Last year he toured in Hong Kong, Germany and stayed active throughout the year.
In August 2005, his 3rd album "Spark Arts" came out, and acquired wide range of fans.
In March 2006, a mix CD "PAH" was released and in August, he released a full album as
Disco Twins featuring Seiji from GuitarWolf(a very popular rockband), Koji Kikkawa,
Utamaru from Rhymester, Yusuke Oya from Polaris and Kaori.
He's been staying active as a DJ as well as a producer and remixer, making not
only techno tracks but across other genre. It's not too much to say he's one of the
most talented creator of this generation.
