1976年イギリス生まれ、香港、アメリカ、日本育ち。ノイズや電子音楽を作り、CDR作品を合計5枚リリース。 98年、兄Joseph Nothingの前身プロジェクト、ROM=PARIに参加。同年にCOM.Aを始める。
2000年、イギリスのレーベルFatCatRecordsと契約しSplit12"シリーズをリリース、2001年１月に自身主宰のNotekrec.より1stアルバム、"Dream And Hope" をリリース。メタル、ヒップホップ、エレクトロ等の要素をタイトで強烈なダンス・トラックに仕立て上げるスキルとセンスは国内外問わず大きな評価を獲得し, イギリス、フランス、ドイツ、オーストリア、アメリカからリミックス、 コンピレーションのオファーを受ける。同年夏にMetamorphoseに出演、フランスのBatofarに 出演、その他国内で数多くのライブ、ツアーを行う。
2001年末にDJ Shiro The Goodmanの運営していたYoung-Z、Notekrecを合併させ、Romzレーベルをスタートさせる。2002年に2ndアルバム"Shot Of Love" をRomz ,Kid606主宰のTigerbeat6レーベルからCDと12インチでリリース。2003年、シングル、リミックス、---- アルバム"My Way-singles, remixes collection"をリリース。 2004年はイギリスのフェスティバル、 Dedbeatに出演,同時にスコットランドのフェスに出演。2006年はベルギーにてFatcat主催のフェスティバルに出演。
2007年に４年ぶりのアルバム”Coming Of Age”をリリース。国内はROMZから、アメリカ、ヨーロッパはTigerbeat6から、また今回は中国のエレクトロニック・ミュージックレーベル、山水からリリース。アジアを含めた全世界からのリリースとなる。 COM.Aと共振するKiiiiiiiがボーカリストで参加、またPVとアートワークはTGBデザインのIshiura氏が手掛ける。
2008年からはThe Mad Capsule MarketsのKyono氏の新プロジェクト、 Wagdug Futuristic Unityにライブサポートメンバーとして参加(SummerSonic08出演予定)。

Born in England (1976), raised in HongKong, U.S. and now in Tokyo,Japan. Age Yoshida gave birth to his solo and started solo project under the alias COM.A .. many compilation and remixes appearances and foundation building releases such as a split 12" on FatCat's classic split series, countless internet trading of his tracks which were also popping up on dj mixes and playlists worldwide.
COM.A started his own label NOTEK REC and on January 2001,released his Debut album "DreamAndHope" and the follow up remix album "We are the pervert?". on Oct 2002, he changed NOTEK REC to ROMZ(running ROMZ with DJ Shiro The Goodman), he released 2nd album "shot of love" from ROMZ and Tigerbeat6, on Dec. 2003, released singles and remixes collection 3rd album "My Way".
And he toured US, France, UK, Scotland, Belgium, Australia, from 2000 to 2007. On 2007, the 4th album "Coming Of Age" has released from ROMZ, Tigerbeat6, and Shanshui label.
From 2008, COM.A joined the band called Wagdug Futuristic Unity(New project of Kyono from The Mad Capsule Markets) as a live support member.
COM.A is one of the first and most inventive japanese electronic music hailed by many as the japanese equivalent to groundbreaking artists, Com.a is sounding the warcry as the leader of an electronic music all over Japan .
