16歳にして独学でDJのキャリアをスタート。東京芸術大学在学中に様々な美術表現と音楽に触れて過ごす傍ら、多くの大舞台をこなし国内外トップDJ達と共演。Houseをベースとした計略的フロアコントロールが評価され、house nation立ち上げ時のメインDJに抜擢。アーティストとオーディエンスがより近い目線で音楽体験を共有できる場所を求め自らDONUTZ@amate-raxiやCLOUDLAND＠ageHaをオーガナイズし、精力的な音楽活動が認められ同年LOUD誌におけるDJランキングでは女性最高位となる11位をマーク。05年のBurning manを皮切りに08年のIBIZAツアーなど国内外のフロアでその才能を発揮し続けている。継続的なmixCDやトラックのリリースを行っており、The signal（海外名義）でワールド・リリースされた"implode EP"、"Solen"は世界NO.1 DJのArmin van Buurenらからサポートを受けクラブ・ヒットとなるなど、ポピュラリティとジャンルの壁を颯爽と越える大胆なクリエイションで一際異彩を放つ、次世代のシーンを象徴する存在。
7/7にオリジナル・デビューアルバム「D.I.S.K.」（daisuki）をリリース。

Having taught herself how to spin, YUMMY started her career at the age of 16. YUMMY has earned high marks for both her style of manipulating multi-colored grooves from powerful vocal house to deep minimal sound and her mixing skills that are second to none among female DJs, and now she plays peak time sets for HOUSE NATION at Womb, Tokyo, Japan. In 2008 in Ibiza, the mecca of the club music, YUMMY attracted a multinational crowd that filled up the floor with her compelling realm and skills on a night in a club, appeared on a show on Ibiza Global Radio that has 500 thousand listeners, and was acclaimed by the local DJs. YUMMY has now been reconized as the most robust and qualified DJ, including becoming the first female DJ to appear on Loud Magazine’s DJ ranking (national) in the same year. While traveling all over Japan on weekends, by the name of maintaico, YUMMY produces a regular party, “CLOUDLAND”, at ageHa. YUMMY’s Mix CD, “HOUSE NATION CONDUCTOR” mixed by YUMMY/avex trax, is set to be on sale on March 11, 2009.
