South West France出身。DJ、サウンドプロデューサーであると同時に、グラフィックデザイナー、グラフィティアーティストとしても活躍中。16歳の時に、hip-hopに傾倒し、それをきっかけとしてグラフィティを始める。学校卒業後は、グラフィックアーティストとして活動。クラブのパーティーフライヤーやレコードジャケット、ポスターなどのデザインも数多く手懸けている。
BMCのパーティーでフリースタイルのDJプレーを始め、やがて北フランスのRennesで開かれたTransmusicales festivalに出演、ジャンルの枠を飛び越えた選曲、激しいパフォーマンスでDJとして注目を集める。現在はパリのNouvaeau CasinoとリヨンのNinkasyのレジデントDJをつとめながら、ヨーロッパ各地のクラブをツアー中。2006年、ミックスCD「MASH UP」をリリースし、ジャンルの枠を超えた選曲MIXスタイルがヨーロッパ中の音楽メディアから高い評価を獲得した。そして2008年11月、待望のファーストフルアルバムをリリース予定。
Missill is a DJ, graffic designer, graffiti writer, producer and all round sensory terrorist who will confront your preconceptions about DJing. Her style has been described as a “sense-shredding orgy of electro, hiphop, booty, breaks, baile funk, dancehall, and grime”. Her passion for all things hip hop translates to her DJ sets to growing mesmerised crowds.
Missill burst onto the scene with the release of her 2005 of her debut mix-compilation, 'Mash Up'. Her sophomore album ‘Targets’ crosses electro, baile-funk, grime, dubstep, hip-hop and breaks with guest spots from the likes of Dynamite MC, BluRum13 & Junior Red. Missill has spent the last few years playing over 400 gigs at every major French, and countless European festivals and has entertained crowds of up to 15,000, toured the world (over 25 countries across the 5 continents) and built up a dedicated fanbase thanks to her innovative and dynamic style and boundless energy.
