French DJ AZAMD is part of the french-japanese label Pitchoun, and mainly spins in Tokyo. Off-the-road AZAMD is a shadow of the urban jungle, appearing in concept parties as well as famous and fashionable underground clubs (Le Baron de Paris, La Fabrique, Trump, Chelsea Hotel, etc). AZAMD also toured in Madrid, Spain (Pantera).
Once on stage, AZAMD often launches savage beats of electro music, but can also slow down and play deep pulsions, which sometimes drift to electronica, post rock or experimental sounds.
AZAMD is also the creator of the infamous and worldwide downloaded electro tape "La Cassette", and recently "Les Autoroutes De La Nuit" (mixtapes), monthly released on www.pitchoun.jp, and extend his work for Pitchoun to photo shooting and graphic designs.
