東京のカルチャーを深く歩んできた人で、映像作家として数々の名曲PVを作り、CMやテレビのモーショングラフィックスを極め、VJとしてはDaDa KingZというユニットで世界を回り、フル回転の型破りポップ映像感覚を炸裂させている。また、テクノ、ハウス、フュチャーガラージ、ジューク、ベース、エレクトロニカ、そして世界各地のダンスミュージックを武器にした彼のDJでもその雑食でポップな感覚が現れていて、インチキハリウッド張りの演出を見せることで、熱心なファンを集めている。
DaDa KingZのメンバーと一緒に行っている映画リミックスプロジェクトの第一弾「２００１年宇宙の旅」が２０１１年の６月にフランス、リヨンの現代美術館「MAC Lyon」で、音楽フェス「ヌイーソノール」中に大絶賛んで行われた。
Ben List is an individual with a long history in Tokyo culture, whether as an accomplished director and designer on numerous music videos, as a motion graphics designer for commercials and television, or as a globe trotting, mind-bending VJ with his unit DaDa KingZ.
As a DJ, he is steadily garnering fans with his sense of pop-art collage creating an audio feast, effortlessly blending house, techno, future garage, juke, bass, electronica and world music and almost anything else at hand to create a mostly mad, always funky audio journey.
A live film remix project with members of DaDa KingZ was debuted at the Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon, France in June of 2011 where the group performed a remix of the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
