17歳の頃にDRUM'N'BASS, HARD DANCEを知り以降、自身の出身でもあるNew Zealandのクラブシーンを探求し続けてきたTim Fieldes。
2010年にDJとしての本格的な活動をスタートさせ、開始半年で大阪、名古屋を始めとする様々な場所にてパーティーに出演しその存在を知らしめて来た。
一つのジャンルに限らずTECH-HOUSE, ELECTRO, DRUM'N'BASS、DUB STEPなど多様のジャンルを織り交ぜ常に新しいPLAY STYLEを探求し、毎週各地のクラブにてフロアに向けてスピンしている。
2011年には自身初の試みともなる新たなリリースも予定している、今最も人気のあるDJの一人である。

Growing up in NZ's music and political capital of Wellington, Tim Fieldes aka BigTed fell in love with the drum&bass and hard dance scenes on offer, a regular known among the DJs as the guy who would always accost them for track IDs from in front of the decks.

Making his DJ debut in 2010, BigTed turns up to play at a wide range of gigs and bars around Osaka and Nagoya.
Not to be tied to one genre, he's been known to play anything from electro-house & techno to dubstep and drum&bass, and for his hyperactive mixing style, often chopping through two dozen tracks in an hour set.
Favourite artists include Boy 8-Bit, Style of Eye, Buraka Som Sistema, Reso and Netsky.
