デシャ　ハンターはペンシルベニア州のハリスバーグで生まれHIPHOPとR&Bと共に育ちました。高校生の時にバルティモアクラブミュージックとD.C. Go Goに恋しフィラデルフィアのテンプル大学に行ってからもその情熱が冷める事は無かった。ハンターはテレビにラジオメディア全般に熱を注いでいった。そして東京に引っ越してからは趣味としてDJを始めるのであった。

DJ Dai*Lightとして2008年から活動を開始し日本国内で初のバルティモアクラブの黒人女性DJとして認識される。Dr.スケッチーズでレジデントDJを二年間務め、バイリンガルエムシーでシンガーのKOJOEのライブDJもこなす様になる。その他にハンターは芸能コンサルタントを日本そしてアメリカの両側から対等に自信の会社ENTokyoを通しサポートを インターナショナルに提供する強い現代女性の象徴である。

Daisha S. Hunter was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Hip Hop and R&B. Her love of Baltimore Club Music and D.C. Go Go started from her late high school years and grew throughout her time at Temple University in Philadelphia. Hunter stays active in media from having a background in TV & radio production and broadcast, feature writing, and creative development. With only two years as a DJ in Tokyo, she considers herself a hobbyist DJ and fan of music and production.

Daisha "Dai*Light" Hunter is the 1st black female DJ in Tokyo to spin Baltimore Club and eclectic mixes to exclusive crowds of party people. She held a 2 year residency at Dr. Sketchy's Tokyo Anti-Art School life drawing parties and is now challenging Hip Hop as the backup DJ for the bi-lingual Japanese emcee, singer, and songwriter Kojoe. Hunter also provides support by consulting and networking contributors of entertainment locally in Japan and abroad through her company, ENTokyo.
