Attikus's hunger for success in both music and business is clear, be it as an artist, DJ, or remixer the one constant is that Attikus never fails to deliver. With an innate feel for the dance floor, Attikus has a dazzling stylistic agility, he can switch between house, electro and tech without loosing the beat. Always striving to keep his edge, Attikus keeps a balance between the studio and the club, where he tests out new tracks to see if they work. DJ'ing remains a real passion, a way to stay connected with clubbers and their ever-changing tastes.Needless to say, music is Attikus's main priority in 2012. Attikus understands the world of melodies and the importance of a powerful kick drum, a producer who loves Pete Tong and Afrojack and dreams of working with icons like David Foster and Quincy Jones . In a very short time he's established himself as one of Tokyo's up and coming DJ's, with CDJs ‘n’ EFX: Rinsing every mix, building energy, and he's constantly concocting new flavours for us to sample. With a bold blend of old + new skool beat as his base, D.J. Attikus throws in a dash of edits, a pinch of bootlegs and a half shot of acappellas and carefully blends everything together with his signature twist.
Having played at ageHa, Womb, Club Asia, XEX,Warehouse 702, Opera Lounge, Trigram, Topshop, Jam Renaissance,Trump Room, MIXX Lounge,Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Peninsula Hotel, and MADO Lounge, Attikus is a regular at Velours Minamiaoyama.
