DJ RUBY learned classical music through touching the piano at the age of three, and was enchanted by the club music scene by age of 16. Soon after returning from a move to Berlin, she launched her DJ career in Tokyo. Besides having extensive experience spinning at clubs, she experienced playing as a backing act in front an audience of 100,000 at the Tokyo Dome for h.NAOTO fashion show held at the X JAPAN concert in 2009, which was broadcasted on Fashion TV.

RUBY also demonstrates her stellar ability in composing tracks; she self-produced and arranged her entire 1st album that was offered as a soundtrack for a cafe with multiple outlets in Tokyo. Rooted in Techno, her sound has a strong experimental element that borders on Minimal, Click, and Electoronica.

She launched own party "PLACT@ WOMB LOUNGE" in Tokyo and Nagoya, while staying active at various parties, including spinning a House set at avex-sponsored House Nation. and she continues to expand her global career in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

DJ for 2010 Anna Sui Cosmetics Autumn Collection, Cartier-LOVE-2011 and total sound produce for Girls Award 2011 A/W.

3 歳でピアノに触れクラッシック音楽を学ぶ一方、16歳よりクラブミュージックに魅了され、ベルリンへ渡り帰国してすぐに都内を中心にDJを始める。数百人 規模のクラブでDJプレイほか、09年のX JAPANコンサートで行なわれたh.NAOTOファッションショーではバックアクトとして東京ドーム10万人の前でプレイする経験を持ち、その時の映像 がFashion TVより放送される。またTRACK MAKINGにも稀有な才能を発揮し1stアルバムでは全曲オリジナルトラック制作とアレンジを行ない、都内に数店舗を構えるcafeのサウンドトラック として提供。
TechnoミュージックをベースとしながらMinimal、Click、Electoronica、DeepでボーダレスなExperimental要素が強い音をこよなく愛する。
WOMB LOUNGEで自身が主催するパーティー「PLACT」を東京、名古屋の二都市でスタートさせる。
avex主催house nationではHouse setをプレイする等、様々なPATYで活躍中であり、香港、台湾とグローバルなDJ活動も展開させている。
またANNA SUI COSMETICS 2010 A/W、Cartier-LOVE-2011でDJを担当し、Girls Award 2011 A/Wではサウンドを総合プロデュースをしている。
