アメリカのバークリー音楽院に留学中クラフトワーク等のジャーマン・エレクトロニックサウンドに多大な影響を受け、テクノサウンドに自分の可能性を見出し、エレクトロニックミュージックの製作を開始。

2002年、故Christian MorgensternのレーベルForte Recordsから「Have you ever seen the blue comet?」にてデビュー。続いて、1stアルバム「Dr.Shingo's Space Odd-yssey」をドイツよりワールドリリース。石野卓球のリミックスも収録したシングル、アルバムは世界中のDJ／プロデューサーが賞賛、一躍名を馳せる。

2004年にはエレクトロサウンドを前面に押し出した2ndアルバム「ECLIPSE」をリリース。フランクフルトと日本を中心に活動するTorsten FeldとのユニットSUNRISE名義のシングル「Taxi Alien EP」をMonika KruzeのレーベルElectric Avenueよりリリース。そしてDr.Shingo & E.Sawado名義で DVD＆CD「7 Colors」をリリースした。才能溢れる音楽性はメジャーシーンでも話題となり、愛内里菜「START」、 Miz「Bitter Sweet」等のリミキサーにも抜擢される。

またDJ/ライブも精力的に行い、ドイツ・ベルリンの伝説的老舗クラブ Tresorにて04年、05年とNew Years Eveでライブを披露。スペインツアーや、ドイツで行われた「Wipe Out Pure Music Festival」、フランスツアー、中国、韓国、台湾、シンガポール、インドネシア等アジア諸国にも進出し,ワールドワイドな活躍をしている。

国内でもこれまでに、「Connect’05」や「WIRE’05/06 前夜祭」、「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'06」等の大型フェスから自身がWOMBでレジデントを務めるCross Mountain NightsやageHa等でのビッグパーティーへ出演し、唯一無二のライブパフォーマンス /DJを披露し多くのオーディエンスを魅了している。

2006年10月11日、3rdアルバム「Initiation」を発表。独創的でストイックながらもユニークでコミカルなサウンドが散りばめられた良作であり、高い評価を受けている。
また、自身の作品の発表や新たな才能を発掘するべく、WEBレーベル「HIGHLAND」をプロデュースしている。

While studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Shingo was quite influenced by the world of
German electronic music such as Kraftwerk etc.
Upon this influence, he found the possibility of expressing his creativity in the field of
electronic music and started his production. In year, He made a debut by his single
"Have you ever seen the blue comet?".
It was released by Forte Records in Geremany, which was founded by Christian Morgenstern.
The single was followed by his 1st original album "Dr.Shingo's Space Odd-yssey", which was
released worldwide. Both his single and album includes a remix by Takkyu Ishino,
received great acclaim from DJs/Producers all around the world.

In 2004, Shingo released his 2nd album "Eclipse" focusing on Electro sound.
He also put out single "Taxi Alien EP" as SUNRISE(the production team with Torsten Feld,who performs in Frankfurt and Japan)
from the label Electric Avenue by Monika Kruse. In the same year, DVD&CD album "7 colors" was released as Dr.Shingo & E.Sawado.

Shingo has been very active in DJing and PA as well. In 2004 and 2005, He performed a brilliant live-set at
legendary club,Tresor in Berlin. In Germany, he also PA in "Wipe Out Pure Music Festival".
Besideｓ Germany, he has toured Spain, France, China, Korea, and Singapore as well.
As he sets his homeground in Japan, Shingo has played in Big Festivals such as FUJI ROCK,WIRE pre-night and Connect.
He performs in big clubs and parties like AGEHA and CrossMountianNights@Womb which he appears as resident artist.
He has gained high appraisal through his PA/DJ works.

In 2006, Shingo released his 3rd album "Initiation", expanding his vocabulary in electronic music,
receiving global acclaim. Recently, he started producing a WEB Label called "HIGHLAND" on the website
"HRFQ" which leads the MP3 downloding store.
