Studio: Fumiya Tanaka (Sundance | Perlon) Taro Contact: Tommy Ryokei (How High) Kotsu (CYK) Arisa Shirota 『DJのクリエイティビティを刺激するロングセット』自身のレーベル〈Sundance〉からKuniyukiとのコラボレーションを発表し、名門〈Perlon〉からはEPを連続リリースするなど、充実した1年を送ったFumiya Tanakaが恒例のロングセットで2018年のCHAOSを締めくくる。ファンならば、Fumiya TanakaによるDJという行為のクリエイティビティがもっとも発揮されるのがロングセットであることをご存知だろう。選曲とミックスという所作を通じてグルーヴが紡がれ、オーディエンスとDJが双方向に作用し合うことで、緊張、高揚、陶酔といったフロア体験を一体となって生み出していく。その場かぎりの空間芸術とでもいうべきFumiya Tanakaのロングセット、そして、オーディエンスひとりひとりがその一部として共にクリエイティヴな空間を創り上げていると思える一体感は、パーティ後に何度も思い返してニヤリとしてしまう高い中毒性に満ちている。パーティ序盤には、長年にわたってFumiya Tanakaと活動を共にしてきたTaroが登場。西麻布Yellowで開催していたMaskを思い出した往年のファンはもちろん、Fumiya TanakaのDJを未体験という方も、入場料1000円というこの機会をぜひとも逃さないでほしい。「The scene's finest flares a spark of DJs' creativity over a marathon set」 2018 has seen Fumiya Tanaka release a collaborative effort with Kuniyuki on his own “Sundance” imprint and two consecutive EPs for German minimal powerhouse “Perlon”, and the Japanese DJ will wrap up this fruitful year with his usual long set business at CHAOS. For Tanaka's fans, it goes without saying that long sets best project his creativity in DJing. Through selections and transitions, he weaves grooves into an interactive space where he and the audience produce reciprocal sensations across suspense, exaltation and euphoria. This site-specific spatial art incorporates everyone there, forging a strong sense of creative mutuality with an infectious lasting effect that leaves them to bask in the afterglow of the night.
