BASS AGENT (Russell Mallon) is a house DJ from the UK whose style encompasses deep house, tech house and a dash of techno.
After beginning his DJ career in 2006 in Aomori City playing alongside the likes of DAISHI DANCE, GTS and AKITA, he made his way to the big smoke and burst onto the Tokyo scene at the fun and friendly club Fai (in Aoyama, Tokyo). Since then he has played main stage at Club Asia, Velours, Tokyo Salon, Mado Lounge, No Style and Oath to name a few. Winter of 2008 he featured alongside well-known international djs such as Mike Munoz, Groove Patrol and Dave Twomey at Jet Set UK, an event showcasing the best foreign DJs in Japan. Spinning as guest DJ with Ko Kimura and WOMB resident Supernova in July 2009, his acclaimed sound continues to attract attention even in techno circles.
Recent co-billings: Crazy Legs (Rock Steady Crew), Fasten Musique Concrete, Alex Einz, Nobuo Ittetsu.
As of summer 2009 Bass Agent regularly presents his own regular house/techno event, buMp, at the stylish club Velours. With an increasingly deeper sound, this is one party to look out for.
