今回はそんな1周年に相応しく、近日ニューアルバム『DESTINATION』のリリースも控えるベテランディープハウサーAnthony Nicholsonがシカゴより来日！！80年代のハウス黎明期より、ハウスの内側をえぐるような深い漆黒のサウンドで、ディープハウスを新たな境地に導いてきた実績は大きく、World Spinでも、独特のアフロディープ、スピリチュアルな深いグルーブでフロアを異次元へと誘ってくれるだろう。

Louie Vega, Osunladeも絶賛!Anthony Nicholsonが、自身のレーベルCircular Motion Recordingsからは初のリリースとなる5年振りのアルバムを完成! 重鎮Ron Trentと共にAfrican BluesやUrban Sound Galleryとして活動、ソロとしても古くはPeacefrog、そしてTrackmodeやPrescription、Clairaudience、Nite Groovesなど、ハウスDJから絶大な信頼を置かれるトップレーベルから数々の作品を残し、2006年と2008年にはX.Panded Dimension.S名義でJoe ClaussellのレーベルSacred Rhythm Musicからシングルを2枚リリース、今も尚シカゴ・ディープハウス・シーンから世界へ向けて素晴らしい作品をクリエイトし続けるベテランAnthony Nicholsonが待望のアルバムをリリース!
ジャズやアフロをハウスのフォーマットへ落とし込み、ライヴフィーリング溢れるピアノ、スピリチュアルなシンセやコーラス、重厚なベースライン、そして多彩なエフェクト、それら厚みのあるマテリアルが一体となって放つ至高のハーモニーは本物の証。ダンストラックでありながらリスニングにもマッチしたこの完璧なバランスこそがシカゴ・ディープの真髄。その全てがこの1枚に秘められている。

Anthony Nicholson has always been a great influence on my path as a musician. When I started producing dance music his productions were a guiding light in a world of boredom and stereotypes and his musical language made me feel connected to him very deeply right away. Much more of importance is that his sonic language made me feel connected to myself much better because he confirmed me in my attitude to never make any compromises with my art. Today I'm happy to call Anthony a good friend with whom I shared some unfergettable musical moments.All human spiritualitiy and emotions are gathered in Anthony's songs and sounds and I can only recommend him to anyone who is looking to find truth and meaning out there. Destination makes no exception and has so many ingredients that make life just way better. It is an album that only Anthony is capable of making! A tune like Hotsauce&Drama makes me think of expressions like "futuristic raregrooves" as the rest of the album is a pure and lovely gift full of surprises, well known things and delight.
