Four years after coming to Japan he opened the legendary Oasis Lounge in Osaka where he honed his skills and found his sound. From the incredible success of the “Oasis Lounge Sound” came many opportunities for Dan. As well as having his mixes featured on world-famous Frisky Radio, his live sets came into great demand taking him all over Japan and Thailand. Following the success of Oasis Lounge, Dan started Oasis Radio which has come to be the most popular internet radio station featuring edm in Japan and “Progressions with Dan Elliot” continues to be one of the most listened to shows on the Oasis Radio schedule.

Having been a mainstay in the Osaka club scene for the past 8 years he has seen people, fads and music tastes come and go so he is no stranger to change. His live sound has progressed over the years from progressive house and tribal to tech house and techno. With this wide range of musical influences he never fails to bring that perfect mix of sound and vibe that always suites the party and gets people’s hands in the air.

Dan Elliot’s firm belief that "music should be intelligent, inspiring and fun" truly characterizes his passion for music and the way he plays.


Dan Elliot （ダン・エリオット）はカナダ東海岸出身。１９９８年、大学卒業後すぐに日本へ移住し、大阪の地でDJとしてオリジナル・スタイルを確立してきた。来日４年にして、大阪随一のアンダーグラウンド・バー／クラブOasis LoungeをOpen。いつ行っても極上のサウンドを聴くことができるとして多くのクラバーたちに愛され、世界的にも有名なFrisky Radioでも彼のmixが取り上げられるなど、日本やタイのクラブシーンで活躍する足掛かりとなった。Oasis Loungeの成功に続いて、インターネット・ラジオ Oasis Radio を始動。日本でedmを放送する最も人気のあるインターネット・ラジオとして名をあげ、 “Progressions with Dan Elliot”は一番人気のプログラムとなっている。
8年間、大阪のクラブシーンで第一線を走り続け、人、音楽、流行などさまざまな変化を独自の感性で敏感に感じ取りながら進化してきた彼の音楽は、progressive house&tribal からtech house&technoへと発展してきた。幅広い音楽を操り、常に完璧なmixと音楽でダンスフロアを盛り上げ、決してクラバーを失望させることはない。

Although early music interests began with rap and hip-hop, he discovered his love of electronic music while partying at a 2000-millennium beach party in Koh Samui, Thailand.
His more memorable DJ endeavors over the past 8 years include numerous Progression events at Osaka’s never forgotten Oasis Lounge, SWASS, KIX, and HIBIKI. And, while his sets have always maintained a progressive, funky edge, Lee’s more recent sets have been an eclectic mix of vocal house, tribal, and teeth grinding tech beats.

大阪のアンダーグランドのイベント”CODA”を立ち上げた一人でもあるDom Pangは、メルボルン、ロンドンそして日本で１１年のDJ活動をしてきた。彼のミックスは、Slick Mix(シャープでスムース)に、おもしろいトラックを合わせ、ベースの効いたヘビーなサウンドが特徴である。 Dom Pang has 12 years of djing exper ...大阪のアンダーグランドのイベント”CODA”を立ち上げた一人でもあるDom Pangは、メルボルン、ロンドンそして日本で１１年のDJ活動をしてきた。彼のミックスは、Slick Mix(シャープでスムース)に、おもしろいトラックを合わせ、ベースの効いたヘビーなサウンドが特徴である。

Dom Pang has 12 years of djing experience behind him - having played regularly in Melbourne, London and Japan. His sets are characterised by slick mixing, interesting track selection and bass-heavy beats.


Dom Pang is now making a name for himself as a leading underground minimal and techno DJ in Osaka and is a crew member of Oasis Radio, Voltage, Subvert and the highly renown CODA crew, which he founded in 2007. His DJ mixes can be heard every friday at 11pm ww.oasis-radio.net.

Musically trained as a guitarist, his influences range from punk and metal to dub and new romantic. Since witnessing the one and only Jeff Mills play in London in 1994 he traded the 6-string for some decks and set about searching for the perfect tekno bass line via the sacred medium of vinyl. While the pursuit continues, Dom Pang has diversified his tastes in electronica joining Australian Drum and Bass and Hardcore sound systems AKA and Dysfunkt in addition to guesting with other tekno rigs and running his own projects.

He aims to promote a party culture that has nothing to do with money and everything to do with the music, the people who come to enjoy it and the power of a creative, temporary autonomous zone.
