2005年6月、東京でのレギュラーパーティー（ハーレム、ブエノス、ラ・ファブリック、アゲハ、イエロー等多数)でのDJ活動を急遽休止し、翌月 2005年7月よりDJ活動の場を日本からニューヨーク(アメリカ)へ移す為に単身渡米。ニューヨークでは、マンハッタンのクラブを中心に、ラウンジ、バー、ショップ、プライベートパーティー等でDJとして活躍。そのクライアントの中には、アディダスやプーマなども名を連ねた。その他、DJ SCRATCH(EPMD)、DJ GREEN LANTERN(Official DJ for Eminem & 50 Cent)、DJ JAZZY JAY、QOOL DJ MARVなどニューヨークのトップDJ達との共演も果たした。3年間のニューヨークでのDJ活動を経て、2008年9月から日本でのDJ活動を再始動。彼の幅広く温かい選曲は、DJ同業者をはじめ、セレブ、芸能人、歌手、有名ダンサー、ラッパー、クラバー等から絶大な支持を受けている。DJ歴15 年を超える彼の最大の武器は、老若男女、国籍問わず、誰でも踊らせることができることである。彼は現場でのDJにこだわり続ける、真のパーティーDJである。プロデュース業においては、読売ジャイアンツの投手、マーク・クルーン選手 (背番号42/2008年セントラルリーグ・セーブ王)の2009年の入場曲、2009年10月12日(月・祝)に開催された、プロレスラー蝶野正洋選手の25周年特別興行「ARISTRIST in 両国国技館」の大会テーマソング「Fight & Love」を制作するなど、活動の場をスポーツ界まで広げている。

DJ CHAPS has been one of the top djs in Japan. He has had a lot of regular parties at many famous night clubs in Tokyo, Japan such as HARLEM, VUENOS, LA FABRIQUE, ageha, YELLOW and more. These night clubs are very famous and packed with party people every weekend.
Taking a brief break from djing in Japan, DJ CHAPS moved to the United States(New York) in July, 2005 to further his career and dream. In New York, DJ CHAPS continued to rock many people at clubs, lounges, bars, stores, private parties, and more around the Manhattan area. Some of those clients include ADIDAS, PUMA, and more. DJ CHAPS also played with famous djs such as DJ SCRATCH(EPMD), DJ GREEN LANTERN(Official DJ for Eminem & 50 Cent), DJ JAZZY JAY, and QOOL DJ MARV.
DJ CHAPS had experienced the music scene in New York for three years, and now he made his return and started rocking parties again in Japan. Because of his style that covers many different kinds of music. DJ CHAPS not only earned the respect of club goers, but also other djs, celebrities, actors, actresses, singers, dancers, and rappers. Boasting a history of more than fifteen years, DJ CHAPS is a sure bet to rock any kind of audience. No matter where you are from, what language you speak, or how old you are, DJ CHAPS will make you move because he is the definition of a “ REAL DJ ”.
