HIROFUMI OHTA Perfecto/mixcream/Soundboy
DJ/Producer/Arranger。2002年、Bob MarlyファミリーのDrum & Bassアーティスト「KEVENS」にその才能を見出され、プレイの拠点をアメリカへと移行。以来、Kraftwerk, Pharoahe Monch, Hieroglyphicsをヘッドライナーにした「CYBERFEST 2003 CALIFORNIA USA」。毎年アメリカのマイアミで行われるUS最大で且つ世界一のダンスミュージックフェス（10万人以上集客）WMC公式イベント、「ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2003 」に初出演した日本人DJ。 2003年から8年連続出演、2006年には04年度グラミー賞3部門においてノミネートされた”THE KILLERS”のオープニングを勤めた。2006年11月USのマイアミで行われた「BANG NUSIC FESTIVAL」ではDuran Duran, Tiesto, Daft Punk, Damian "Jr.Gong" Marly, Gnarls Barkly, Modest Mouse, Commonと共に出演。 2008年「CARRY ON ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL AFTER PARTY」ではFerry Corstin, Junkie XL, Crystal Method, Tommy Lee、翌2009年はPaul Oakenford, Danny Tenaglia, Hernan Cattaneo, Infected Mushroom, Fedde Le Grand, BTと共に出演。2009年MadonnaワールドツアーのオープニングDJを務め、Madonna「Celebration」をプロでユースし2010年度グラミー賞にノミネートされたPaul Oakenford から「You are good heart & soul」と絶賛されリミキサーに抜擢。またリリースにおいては、2006年、ドイツの名門プログレッシブレーベル「Euphonic」の10周年を記念するコンピレーションを監修し、2007年9月に「The Selection Best Of Euphonic」をリリース。ツアーファイナルとして、2008年の3月東京ageHa、大阪Triangleにおいて、Ronski Speed(Euphonic/GER)を招待。また、2007年から楽曲制作をスタートし、翌2008年夏、ファーストシングル「SAKURA」をi-Tunes、KINGBEATからリリース。 2010年３月、DJ Soma/相馬順一のレーベルmixcream よりセカンドシングル「Vision」をリリースし、 J-WAVE FM × MySpace × 雑誌「From JP./ Real」コラボ生番組『RADIO × SPIDER』のオープニングテーマ曲に選ばれた。 2010年、Paul Oakenford のPerfecto RecordsよりMesmerised/Paul Okenfold feat.Suzie Del Vecchio (Hirofumi Ohta Remix)、サッカーFIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa大会のメキシコチームのオフィシャルソング「Viva Mexico - Paul Oakenfold Feat. Suzie Del Vecchio (Hirofumi Ohta Remix)」をリミックス。そして、2011年3月8日にリリースされビルボード・R&Bアルバムチャート第１位に輝き、MTV AWARDにノミネートされた「Lupe Fiasco / ルーペ・フィアスコ」のサードアルバム「Lasers」から「Break The chain」のリミッキサーに抜擢された。 HIROFUMI OHATの洗練された高い選曲力から織りなすミックスセンスとテクニックは定評で、House, Progressive, Electoronica, Tranceと、ジャンルの枠を超えた独自のプレイスタイルは「ONE LOVE」をモットーに多くの人々に愛と喜びと感動を与え、確実な存在感とパッションで多くのクラウドを魅了し続けている。

Hirofumi started his career as a DJ, at the legendary night club in Japan in 1985. He had successfully produced monthly party including sound production of high-end fashion shows and hair and make up shows and back drop sounds to other notable industry events. In 2002, Hiro was discovered by the live Drum&Bass artist "KEVENS", when he performed in Japan. When Kevens saw Hiro play, he thought that Hiro's solid spin technique and unique style would be appreciated in the U.S., UK and other leading market in industry world wide. Since then, he has started performing in the U.S. Hiro was the first Japanese DJ who performed at the world renowned Ultra Music Festival in 2003, in everyone's favorite spot to party, Miami Florida. (Currently, the official party of Winter Music Conference) Since Then, he has gone on to grace the same stage 8 years in a row, with Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Moby, Prodigy, Payl Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Junkie XL and many superstar artists.?
