当時のサウンドを踏襲した音楽スタイルをバックボーンに持つ。
日本人による最高質かつ独創性溢れるEDM (Electronic Dance Music)を
リリースすることで定評のある『Otographic Music』レーベルに所属。
現在、国内外問わずEDM市場をメイン・ターゲットとした楽曲制作を行っている。
キャッチーかつハッピーなメロディ・ラインと
幻想的なハーモニー、パーカッシヴなリズムトラックの融合が特徴。
2010年にはハンガリーのDJ/プロデューサーであるAeron Aetherのレーベル、
Arrivalより待望の海外レーベルからのOriginalリリースが実現。
さらに2011年1月、Otographic MusicよりリリースされたRemixアルバム
「Hiroyuki ODA - Thirty Remixes」のリミックスワークにて
Beatport Tranceチャートで最高9位を獲得。
2012年1月には、自身のOriginal楽曲「Uluru」がBeatport Weekly Progressive Releases Chartにて
1位を獲得。
KaNa (Kana Ijuin) is a EDM Producer and DJ from Yokohama Japan.
From a child KaNa has strongly impressed by Classical music, and started to make music by using the piano. Since her teens, she has touched the synths. And through working as a keyboard player in a band, she has decided to be a musician, and learned music theories and composing techniques.
While doing her keyboard activities, KaNa has met dance musics such as 80′s Hi-NRG, Eurobeat, Disco, Soul, and House by going to clubs. And soon after she has started her DJ activities. From that, she has experienced many many unknown music that across generations and genres.
KaNa had produced her tracks by using hardware sequencer and analog equipments. In 2005, she had changed her equipments to Macintosh, and come to produce in seamless environment by using Logic. Just then, she ran into Progressive House by Probspot and Benz & MD. KaNa was fascinated by Progressive House and come to make it by her own.
Since 2006, KaNa’s tracks has been spoken of favorably in labels and artists in Japan. Soon after she got production offers by Japanese labels such as Days Music, Delights Music and Landscape Music. Also Otographic Music featured her and has been giving maximum supports. Firstly KaNa released “Flower Of Snow” in 2010. Successively in 2011 she released “Hiroyuki ODA ? Thirty (KaNa Remix)” and that appeared 9th position on Beatport trance chart. And recently, she made remixes for Tomoyuki Sakakida and Kamil Esten. Now she is performing her exceeding talents to all over the world.
KaNa’s sounds have happiness, danceable rhythms, and her unique taste that brings you both freshness and nostalgia. Otographic Music committedly continues to support her sincere efforts in making music.
