Ivan Kuzbassはモスクワ時代よりエレクトロニック・ダンスミュージックに親しみ、その後東京に移り住んでから、シンプルでクリッキーでエッジなテクノ音源をパワフルなセットに持ち上げていく彼独自のスタイルを築く。その音楽は、クラブで踊るのにはもちろん、自宅で聞いても楽しめるミックスに仕上がっている。UNIT、Womb、今は無き伝説のYellowに至るまで、幅広く東京のクラブシーンでプレイすると同時に、東京にミニマル・テクノの流れを運ぶレギュラーイベントMinimalTokyoの設立者でもあり、毎回トップクラスのエレクトリック・ダンスミュージックと最高のライブビジュアルを提供し続けている。
Ivan Kuzbass has been experimenting with electronic dance music since 1990s when he was growing up in Soviet Moscow. It was in Tokyo and in 21 century, however, when he has formulated his individual music method, mixing simple, clicky and edgy minimal techno compositions into up-lifting and powerful dance sets, that can both move a floor in a club and listened at home. Having played extensively in some of the top Tokyo clubs, such as UNIT, Womb and legendary club Yellow, he co-founded a Minimal Tokyo collective, which has been making waves in Tokyo with its regular minimal techno nights that combine top-notch electronic dance music and some of the best live visuals in Tokyo.
