DJing around the world since 1997, MX is currently resident at Real Grooves (Tokyo). In 2009, MX launched blackmaps, an independent label based in Tokyo and London. With recorded sound at its core, blackmaps expands the parameters of a record label with a focus dilating from music to experimental film, private press literature to design commissions and beyond.
