DJ, ProducerそしてRemixerといった顔を持つ多才かつ世界的にもそのユニークなスタイルでパーティーをロックし続ける男、それがDJ PETEDOWNだ。キャリアとして10年以上を有し、あのアメリカの大手Hip HopレーベルであるDef JamやRoc-A-Fellaの専属DJとして数々のイベント・パーティーでの出演経験を持つ正に超ベテラン。
特に彼が手がけるリミックスは世界中のクラブでプレイされる程人気が高く、今日のパーティーで聞かない日は無いくらいの人気ぶり。現在はNew Yorkに拠点を持つAV8 Recordsの専属DJとしてFatman ScoopやCrooklyn Clanの同士達と共に多忙の日々を過ごし、Kid Capri, Skribbles, DJ Khaled, Mad Linx(BET), DJ Camiloといった強者DJ達とも共演をこなすハードワーカーDJである。
プロデューサーの顔としては本国アメリカとカナダにおいてSprint Radioを含む6局のラジオ局をプロデュースし、ボストン・ラスベガス・ロスアンジェルス・オーストラリア等々へゲストDJとして各地の局に出演。更にはアーティスト達とも親交が深く、これまでに共演を果たしたアーティストはNina Sky, Ne-Yo, J Holiday,Run DMC, Ying Yang Twins, Wu-Tang, Bobby Valentine。日本国内でもDJ Steelo, DJ Dask, DJ Shuzo, DJ Mayuko, DJ Nucky達のMix CDに登場しており、日本でも高く注目されているDJだ。
