2003年にオープンしたRuby RoomはかつてはSugar Highという名で知られ、当時はTricky, Basement Jaxx, Hernan Cattaneo, Massive Attack, Aphex TwinのRichard D. Jamesなどといった有名DJやロックスター達がよく見かけられていました。Ruby Roomとして生まれ変わった今は更に充実したサウンドシステムを設け、DJイベントやバンドのパフォーマンスを行っています。25,000枚もの小さな鏡のかけらで飾られたバーカウンターでは多数のカクテル、ワインやビールを揃え、ソファエリアもあり、小さいながらも充実したひと時を過ごせる空間となっています。

The Ruby Room, cocktail lounge with a storied history that traces its lineage back to the old days of Sugar High when it was not uncommon to find visiting rockers and DJs such as Tricky, Massive Attack or Richard D. James of Aphex Twin lounging by the bar or manning the decks. Fast-forward to 2003 and you have THE RUBY ROOM, well-outfitted with a bumping sound system accomodating both DJed and live music, a full service bar offering a great variety of different cocktails, wines and beers, and a plush interior with red sofas and a beautiful shimmering bar counter made from 25,000 tiny square mirrors.
