才能あふれるニュージーラン出身のDJサム・フィッツジェラルド。２００８年日本に足を踏み入れて以来レコードのみを使ったセットで東京のクラブシーンにフレッシュな旋風を巻き起こしている。彼のここ日本でのライフワークでもあった、国際NGO団体主催の船舶旅行 -ピースボートに従事してきた過去４年間の日々は、彼に旅をしながら同時に、世界はるか彼方、ブラジルのアマゾン川や紅海など各地でそのレコードをプレイする機会を与えてきた。
また、Parties 4 PeaceのレジデントDJでもあり、２０１０年の夏には、Trump Houseで行われたマンスリーイベント、Onigiri Fridaysにて毎回ダンスフロアーをロックした。最近では、Tom Middleton、Tony Lionni、JZ (Redmelon) そしてAosawa (Freerange Tokyo / Redbox )と共にFreerange Tokyoのパーティーにもフックアップされ、またSkinnipants/Redboxのライブイベント３DGarageではTrippple NippplesやMabanuaとタッグを組みイベントを盛り上げた。
A talented DJ hailing from New Zealand, Sam Fitzgerald's vinyl-only sets have brought a breath of fresh air to Tokyo’s dancefloors since arriving in the city in 2008. Over the last four years his work with Japan based international NGO Peace Boat has seen him play records in far flung locations such as on the Amazon River and Red Sea.
From 2010 Sam joined the Freerange Tokyo parties alongside international artists such as Tom Middleton, Tony Lionni, Lovebirds and Shur-i-kan, and locals JZ (Redmelon) and Aosawa (Freerange Tokyo / Redbox ). Since the summer of 2010 Sam has been part of the Onigiri Fridays unit, playing alongside Das Moth, Kateb and Dirk Bite. Recently Onigiri Fridays has played alongside artists such as Lil'Louis (Chicago) and Juan MacLean (DFA). Sam is also a regular at some of Tokyo's audiofile DJ bars such as Aoyama Tunnel and Bonobo in Sendagaya.
