90年代前半からイベントプロダクションで経験を積み、 Manhattan Reocrdsに勤務しながら様々な形でダンスミュージック・シーンに貢献し、クラブシーンに没頭して行ったSHINYA−Y。常に目の前のフロアーのグルーヴを意識したプレイはダンスミュージック・フリークから信頼も厚い。HOUSEを中心にさらに音楽性を広げ、ジャンルにとらわれない要素を取り入れたアグレッシブなDJスタイルは常に進化し続けている。04年にWOMBにてスタートし、現在は様々な場所で開催されている『PANGEA』を中心に、都内各CLUBでのブッキング、野外フェティバルに出演し活動の幅はさらに広がり、ヤングクラウド・アーバンレディのハートを鷲掴み。今後の活躍も期待できるDJであり、challengerでもある。
Shinya-Y has contributed to the Japanese Dance Music scene since the beginning of 90's. He started his career with Tokyo's essential promoter, VASTUNE PRO and Dainasonic Pro, which later lead to a job as a record buyer for Manhattan Records. His deep passion for house music has gained great support from promoters, audience, and DJs alike, where many call him "A REAL DJ" His aggressive and crowd pleasing DJ style ranges from Deep and Tech House, and Techno. He currently plays at many clubs and festivals in and around Tokyo, making him one of the most important DJs in Japan.
