An American expatriate always seeking to explore the darker and more sacred side of creating musical soundscapes through mixing DJing, and Live improvisation. Rooted in an Industrial and avant-garde tradition yet able to resonate with Cosmic and Psychedelic sounds led Tel Quel to explore and fuse Minimal, Ritualistic, Ethnic, and Spiritual sides of Electronic, and avant-garde music. Composing music with cinematic feel his mixes also often contain evocative and moving pieces that seem seldom herd in the modern Tokyo club circuit. Be it the sublime elements found in Cosmic Nu-Disco, pilgrimaging into the dark heart of human nature with tribal Dark Wave, or seeking the spiritual enlightenment of Electronica and Ethnic fusion, Tel Quel always seeks to help guide his fellow musical travelers into new musical realms.
