DJ DA3DALUS brings together old sounds with the new to keep the feeling fresh and alive. Before moving to Japan, DJ DA3DALUS played clubs in Detroit and in Indianapolis. As both a Club DJ and Radio DJ his main theme for every show is to promote maximum movement and good vibes. DJ DA3DALUS likes to say, "I go big or go home... and I'm not home". spinning 3 very different sets under the electronica, house & electro house genres, dominic is also active as a dj on the embassy party / gala functions circuit in tokyo. In addition to coordinating various 2nd stages at festivals, he also helps organize the interpreters for the yearly fuji rock & summer sonic music festivals and has interpreted for the likes of junkie xl, mylo, datarock, calvin harris and others.
he has been featured as a dj in various media, including vision quest’s “the gathering 2006” dvd and tokyo’s “metropolis” magazine. After hosting an in-flight radio channel on japan airlines for 4 years, dominic joined canada-based electronica label interchill records in 2005, and is excited to be able to help spread interchill's aural vision throughout asia and beyond.
dominic is half german and half british, was born and raised in tokyo, and has lived in california, southeast alaska and japan. he holds a ba in economics from temple university and likes to travel in his spare time.
dominic has released a 2 CD mix compilation for a collaboration between interchill records & the beverage company canada dry/coca cola japan, & the concept is to "relax" & "enjoy." one mix is called "chill time luxury," & the other is "secret dance party." the mixes were available through cd format & web download on the canada dry japan website.
