昨年は400名の方々に来てもらった最大級の花見パーティー。。。。今年こそはとにかく今年のベスト花見パーティーにしたく、一つのステージで最高峰のハウス＆テクノを提供、二つのバーに気合の入ったサウンドシステム。もちろん桜付き。。。そして願わくば良い天気！

400 plus people made it the biggest hanami of 2008 last year. This year we bring you what will hopefully be THE hanami showdown of all showdowns. Simple as set up: one slamming stage showcasing the best in house & techno, 2 bars and of course the best sound, to the usual backdrop of blooming cherry blossoms and - we hope - glorious sunshine!

My best known project, the "METAMORPHOSE" festival is the biggest electronic music festival in Japan. Metamorphose first began in 2000, soon establishing itself internationally as one of the best electronic and dance music festivals in the world, which now gathers together some 20,000 people. After spending 4 years in London in the late 80's, I became heavily influenced during the second summer of love. Upon returning to Japan in 1991 I started organising & DJ-ing at underground parties in and around Tokyo. Rapidly gaining notoriety for my DJ-ing skills and diverse sets I found myself being invited to play in clubs all the way across Japan. Establishing a name for myself on the back of this success, I took my dj carreer worldwide, travelling across the globe & playing in the major cities of Asia, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. I have a residency at Reboot, one of the respected, the longest run Techno party in Japan which celebrated its 11th anniversary this year. I am also a resident at Fiercesounds, playing regularly for them in Japan & in London. I have released a harc techno Mix CD "Reboot 2" in 2003, tech house Mix CD "MUSA" in 2007, minimal Mix CD "CB SESSION in 2008, and "A PIECE OF TECHNO" in July 2009.

After a few years cutting his teeth i...DAVE TWOMEY's first gig was at Lakota in Bristol in 1998 as the paint was still drying after a 1 year refit of the infamous West country club. After a few years cutting his teeth in the student club scene in 2002 he won Muzik magazine's monthly mixing competition Bedroom Bedlam & with new confidence to change direction he moved Japan-wards. During his 8 year stay he held various residencies or his own parties at Yellow, Air, Womb, Colors Studio & Warehouse702 injecting a dose of the underground into the Tokyo scene; he managed Number 11 'Best DJ' for Loud magazine in 2004 & was resident for Global Underground in Tokyo amongst others. His 20's based in Tokyo also saw early tours to South America, Europe, South East Asia & more ...
A keen & prolific event organiser as well as DJ his events have been he says a challenging labour of love over the years and his current focus MARIANA - deep, trippy & liquid techno events inspired by the Mariana Trench & its fearsome creatures - has been picking up momentum in a scene saturated by minimal and tech house. Early Tokyo events saw his MYM stable booking the likes of Falko Brocksieper, Oliver Hacke, Andrea Ferlin, Mark Henning, Reynold & Jeff Milligan, plus more recently for MARIANA / MARIANA DUB SESSIONS / MARIANA LIMITED the likes of Ben Klock, Kirk Degiorgio, Peter Van Hoesen, Kassem Mosse, Mike Parker, Delta Funktionen & MLZ among others.
Running since its Samurai.FM' launch, Dave's MYM RADIO show has featured the likes of Cobblestone Jazz, Peter Van Hoesen, DJ Nobu, Alex Smoke, Ryan Elliott, Dartrixx (aka Fumiya Tanaka & Radiq) & many many more over the years though currently on sabbatical. The MARIANA DUB SESSIONS podcast continues to spread its tentacles, originally started as an outlet for mixes of a deeper vein as well as Mariana residents and guest DJ sets (http://marianadubsessions.podomatic.com).
Dave is currently living in the UK and focusing on Tr nch production & podcasts. Dave's debut 12-inch under that alias is a collaboration with Okinawan IORI on Peter Van Hoesen's TIME TO EXPRESS. Described as 'mesmerising' with good reviews from the likes of Richard Brophy (DJ Mag), Max Bacharach (Resident Adviser), plus support by Horizontal Ground's AnD, Chris Liebing & Konrad Black among others.

The Tr nch DJ set represents the sound of MARIANA, a currently Japan-based deep techno event project. He is one of the best known uprising talents of the Japanese underground dance music scene,playing in countless underground and many well known festivals including Big Beach festival (organized by FatBoy slim) or Metamorphosis and supporting international artists such as Luciano ,Mandy ,Richie Hawtin ,Loco Dice ,Innervisions and Moodyman in addition to regular performances on top Japanese radio station "J-wave" and TV. The event he is regularly organizing and spinning at "TRESVIBES" is amongst the best known in Japanese dance music scene and one of the most popular events at Womb,introducing a mix of top local and international artists such as Brothers'Vibe,Mountain People,Rhadoo,D'Julz,Seuil,Radio Slave,Audio Fly,Anja Schneider,Daze Maxim and many others.

His experience in the club scene...A legendary dancer in his own right, RAHA is most likely the most knowledgeable and well experienced person in the dance/club scene of Japan today. His experience in the club scene that lasts over 20 years has helped him create his very own musical sense, sensitivity to trends and sounds that can compare with well known DJs. His own musical philosophy lies in the belief that his unique sound and style can only be created and followed by his extensive time and experience spent in the clubs and on the actual dance floors.
Working professionally in various genres of music, as not only an artist but also as a producer, he is the owner of many musical faces. As a party organizer, his experience extends to over 19 years with a trail of legendary parties such as Ooooze, Boogie Nights and MAIN STREET, all of which have continued to lead the Japanese dance party scene.
Currently his style ranges from music of 124~127 BPMs of deep, funky tech house, minimal, techno and deep house. A true crowd pleaser, his DJ play is not to be missed!
