Open 22:00 Lineup: Big Dope P (Moveltraxx/UK) Guchon MoEPiKA Seimei Carpainter andrew ロンドンを拠点に活動するパリ出身のプロデューサーBig Dope Pは自身のレーベルMoveltraxxとともに、その名を世界中に知られている。ゲットー・テック/ハウスやジューク、フットワークやエレクトロファンクを中心としたプロデューサーで、そのDJセットは、ユニークなベースライン、リスナーの想像を越えるテクニカルでウィットに富んだ展開の連続で、ディープさとともに最高にヒップな体験を味わうことができる。 Lil WayneやPusha T、Kaytranada、Basement Jaxx、Todd Terry、Maya Jane Colesなど様々なシーンのトップクラスとの共演や、Ed Banger、LuckyMe、Nervous、Ninja Tune、OWSLAといった名門レーベルからのリリース。Moveltraxxからは、Paul Johnson、 Crookers、 Gettoblasterなど名だたるアーティストのリリースなど、Big Dope Pのシーンへの功績を挙げると切りはない。5月10日には待望のアルバム『TOTO LA CASTAGNE』が発表されており、ハイデジタルとファンクネスが高い次元でクロスする圧倒的なオリジナリティは、すでに現代名盤の呼び声が高い。先述のニューアルバムに、Guchonとの共作トラック『Narita』がクレジットされている。Guchonは過去にもMoveltraxxから『Booty Paradise EP』を発表しており、Big Dope Pも「ブーティーすぎて激ヤバとしか言いようがないEPだ。Guchonはいつだって最高だ！」とコメントを寄せている。Big Dope Pと最も近い日本人アーティストといって過言ではなく、今回も音が縦横に弾ける最高のセッションが実現しそうだ。 TREKKIE TRAXとBig Dope Pの親交も厚く、2019年MoveltaxxからのCarpainter & andrewのトラック『Lil K Jam』や、2022年、同レーベルの『Street Bangers Factory』シリーズへのSeimeiの楽曲提供、2017年に開催されたビーチフェス Lost Paradiseでの共演など、度々活動を交差させている。 Tohji主催のモンスターパーティu-haや、話題を呼んだDIESEL×NTS radio×TONAL TOKYO×BOILER ROOMのコラボレーションパーティへの出演など、MoEPiKAの昨今の動向は、東京シーンの中心でひときわ輝きを放っている。Big Dope P好きを公言するMoEPiKAのDJセットは、ゲットーマナーに裏付けられたテクノやベースミュージック、ゲットーテックなど、鋭い切れ味と低い重心のベース、ただよう危険な香りで、この日に一つの変化を加える大きなトピックになっている。「Ghetto bass don Big Dope P comes to Japan for the first time in seven years with a new album」 London-based Parisian producer Big Dope P has made a name for himself worldwide with his label Moveltraxx. A producer of ghetto tech/house, juke, footwork and electro-funk, his DJ sets are a series of unique basslines, technical and witty developments that go beyond the listener's imagination, making for the most hip experience along with the deepest. He has performed with various top names in the scene, including Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Kaytranada, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry and Maya Jane Coles, and has released on prestigious labels such as Ed Banger, LuckyMe, Nervous, Ninja Tune and OWSLA. Big Dope P's achievements on the scene include releases on Moveltraxx by Paul Johnson, Crookers and Gettoblaster, to name but a few. The long-awaited album “TOTO LA CASTAGNE” was released on 10 May, and its overwhelming originality, which crosses high digital and funkiness at a high level, is already being called a contemporary masterpiece. The aforementioned new album is credited with 'Narita', a track co-written with Guchon, who has previously released the 'Booty Paradise EP' on Moveltraxx, and Big Dope P has said, "It's an EP that's just too bootylicious and intense. Guchon is always the best!" He also commented. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the closest Japanese artist to Big Dope P, and it is likely to be another great session where the sound will play in all directions. TREKKIE TRAX and Big Dope P are also close friends, with Carpainter & andrew's track 'Lil K Jam' on Moveltaxx in 2019, and Seimei's music for the label's Street Bangers Factory series in 2022, The two have frequently intersected activities, such as performing together at the beach festival Lost Paradise in 2017.
