Mohn was one of many legendary collaborations (see also Burger/Voigt, Burger/Ink) between Wolfgang Voigt and Jörg Burger. In April 2012, Kompakt released the wonderful ambient album of the same name, containing the best music Vangelis has never written, the lost soundtrack to Cologne's version of Blade Runner, a space opera in slow motion, conducted by a hypnotized Caspar David Friedrich in orbital transit.

On 7 October 2020 released a total of 16 Mohn tracks as a bundle in their digital download shop. In addition to the album tracks, the bundle includes the compilation contributions "Manifesto" and "Tiefental", the remixes of "Ebertplatz 2020" and "Saturn" as well as "Das Ultimatum".
