つい先日、Yellow Claw（イエロー・クロウ）が、自分たちが主人公の漫画を制作・リリースすることを SNS で明かしたばかりだが、フューチャーハウスのパイオニア Don Diablo（ドン・ディアブロ）こと Don 様も サイエンス・フィクション、コミック・ブック「Hexagon」を2020年春に販売すると発表した。

We’re so excited to announce our second sci-fi comic book series “Hexagon”! We’ll be giving away Issue #1 for FREE later this week at @newyorkcomiccon. Hope to see you there at booth #426! It will be available for sales online and in comic book stores in Spring of 2020. This series is the product of an amazing collaboration between renown DJ/Producer @dondiablo, award winning sci-fi writer @michaelmoreci and @raapack -the artist behind Neon Future. Hexagon is our first step into youth-focused content, it was written with a teenage audience in mind. Here’s a Synopsis: “HEXAGON” revolves around a lonely boy, Don, who is obsessed with winning the hottest video game “Crucible.” The trouble is, his father forbids him to play. Don loves his father, but when he leaves on yet another business trip, Don sneaks out with his friends to an all-night game-a-thon with the intention of impressing a girl. この漫画の主人公はもちろん Don Diablo。コミックブックのタイトルは Don Diablo のレーベル名でもある「Hexagon」。ティーンエイジャーをターゲットとした内容で、 コミックブックの対象年齢は13歳～となっている。



気になるあらすじも SNS で紹介されている。

あらすじ
主人公の孤独な少年 Don は、テレビゲーム「Crucible」に熱中しており、どうにか勝利したいと考えている。
※Crucibleとは、過酷な環境の惑星に放り込まれたプレイヤー達が、時には協力してエイリアンと戦いつつ、最後まで残った1人が勝者になるというゲーム。
問題は、Don の父親が Don にテレビゲームを禁止していること。Don は父親を愛しているものの、Don の父親が会社の社員旅行に出掛けた際、Don は女の子たちにモテたい一心で、友達と共に真夜中にゲームをしてしまう。ゲームにのめり込んでプレイするうちに、Don は「このゲームには勝てない」と誰もが言う難易度の高いゲームに勝利。その瞬間、Don の世界はひっくり返ってしまう。そして Don の勝利が引き金となりエイリアンの侵略が始まり、Don は銀河空間の中で何年もの間続いている戦いの中に紛れ込んでしまう……。
