Dwayne’s career has always been in technology and music media. He has been a broadcaster since his teenage years. He now shares his knowledge with students in Japan who want a radio career. Dwayne started Hit Music Media, Tokyo a concept company that provides broadcast training.

Dwayne is one of the original members of Tokyo Professionals started in 2008 along with previous TV host Miwa Gardner. 米シカゴ出身。インディアナ州サウスベンドラジオマーケット（シカゴから80マイル東）にある99.1FMで自身がプロデュースしたラジオ番組が、18－34歳の女性リスナー層で驚異的な視聴率を記録。※アービロトン社調査

“ベスト・オブ・ザ・ベスト”というコンテストで、18－24歳の女性の中で最も人気のあるラジオ番組をプロデュースするラジオＤＪとして表彰された経験を持つ。

ＬＡのPower 106、シカゴのQ101、ニューヨークのHot 97などトップ10のマーケットステーションを傘下に持つ放送会社Emmis Communicationsに就職。インディアナポリスにある本社にて、当時の”Radio Now 93.1FM”のオンエアパーソナリティおよびプロデューサーとして活躍。

8年前日本に拠点を移し、東京都内で開催される多彩なテーマのプライベートパーティーでイベントＤＪとして音楽を提供しており、活躍の場はプライベートヨットから人気のクラブまでと幅広い。

ドウェインは東京で今注目のHOTなバー、クラブでも多数のイベント音楽を担当。Vanity Lounge, AGEHA, Womb, Feria, A-Life, Le Baron, Shower Lounge Plus (with DJ Kaori, Cafe Atlantis, XEX, Mixx Lounge, LE GA, Velour’s, Enoshima Beach など。また、Facebook東京オフィスのパーティーなど企業イベントにおいても音楽提供している。

エレクトロ、テックハウス、そしてヒップホップ/R&Bからディスコ、レトロパーティーミックスなどの多彩なジャンルのミックスを手がけ、ライブ限定のスペシャルリミックスなども制作。

Chicago born DJ Dwayne Wayne produced an award winning radio show on what was then “99.1FM” in The South Bend Indiana radio market (80 miles east of Chicago) that won broadcast awards for gaining incredible ratings among female listeners between the age of 18 and 34 (prime buying market in American advertising) as noted in the Arbitron reports.

During his career in America Dwayne went on to work for Emmis Communications, an American broadcast company owning top 10 market stations like Power 106 in Los Angeles, Q101 in Chicago and Hot 97 in New York. Working out of their world headquarters in Indianapolis, Dwayne Wayne was an on-air personality and producer for what was then “Radio Now 93.1FM”.

In Japan Dwayne Wayne is providing DJ music services to a variety of themed and private parties throughout Tokyo. Venues range from private yachts to popular nightclub venues. Dwayne prides himself on giving party people in Tokyo a unique experience with Tokyo’s nightlife. Dwayne mixes popular genres such as Electro, Tech House and Hip Hop/R&B, Disco and Retro. He also creates special remixes that can only be heard during his live performances.

Private Parties: Dwayne has performed at many private and special events at prestige venues such as Tokyo American Club, Stalleto, Legatos, Park Hyatt and Mercedes Connections. Dwayne has also performed in unique locations like Yachts, cruise ships, roof-tops, and many cool venues like Ageha, Womb, Feria, Xex, LE GA, Vanity Lounge, A-Life, the ANA hotel, the Peninsula and believe it or not, the Facebook office in Tokyo. Benefits on Private Events: Quite often music genres could vary on private events. Dwayne creates unique play-lists to cater to events such as birthday parties, private outings, corporate and themed events. Dwayne holds one of the largest music libraries in the world with every Hot 100 Billboard charted song between 1949 and today. Because of Dwayne’s radio background and many years of broadcasting experience, the music selections in his library are primarily clean radio edits including the very popular Hip Hop genre.
