DJ AKi returned to Japan from NYC in 2001 and began the monthly party, 06S, with himself as the resident DJ at WOMB, and has gained popularity through his original hard and cyber style drum'n'bass that many UK DJs are also credited into drum 'n' bass scene in Japan.

DJ AKi also has released the first mix CD in Japan, "New Type Drum+Bass 06S" in 2004, and his impeccable skills on decks were well perceived by many music lovers all over the nation.

He also attended SKOL BEATS in Sao Paulo in April 2005, where his high energy and outstanding talent as a DJ made a huge impact. These 2 gigs made big impression on the worldwide drum 'n' bass scene. For the WOMB WORLD WIDE Project in 2006, DJ AKi and KEN ISHII flew to the tour in Brazil and performed at Brazil's top clubs WARUNG und SIRENA.

DJ AKi have now toured throughout the world:England, Australia, Serbia, Netherlands, U.S.A, Brazil, Taiwan, Korea, China, Thailand, and Singapore. In the Spring 2006, he started Tokyo Original Drum 'n' Bass label "06S RECORDS". It kicked off with first release "FREE YOUR MIND" with a remix by D-BRIDGE.
