As the show started with the crowd cheering with excitement, the show began by an opening video. As the video was played on the screens, HANABI's sound producer/DJ KAYA, Shakuhachi player Nakamura and Tsugaru Shamisen player Kubota, and ink painter Hidekichi Shigemoto made their appearance on stage. Shakuhachi player Nakamura and Tsugaru Shamisen player Kubota were wearing a matching black and white crested hakama ( a Japanese Kimono for men ).

Nakamura started his solo performance playing "Wilhelmus van Nassouwe" the national anthem of the Netherlands. As the music ends, Hidekichi Shigemoto started to gracefully move his paint brush and begins his live art performance.

HANABI performed their debut track "MODERN COLORS" by improvising their music. HANABI's powerful performance was definetely one of a kind, and has made its grand debut in the Netherlands.

"MODERN COLORS" has also made its first deal with various labels overseas, and has also made a great hit.

After performing their powerful representative tracks, Nakamura started to play a soothing sound of oriental music and played the smash hit of the year 2000 in Japan, the "Good Time" produced by DJ/Producer "Peran Van Dijk"

As Nakamura continued playing his solo, Peran surprised the crowd by appearing on stage, and started to perform with HANABI.
As the song goes towards the end, Kubota started to play his beautiful shamisen and played their main theme song "starmine".
From the soothing sound to an upbeat dance tune, HANABI drastically changed the atmosphere of the crowd, and brought them to the HANABI world once again.

While the show was heading to its climax, ink painter Hidekichi Shigemoto finished his art performance by drawing the childhood hero of the Netherlands, a professional football player, Jojan Cryuff.
