Based in Tokyo, the electronic beat & experimental voice duo “Lalotonga” has spent three years fusing beats with experimental vocals, delivering live performances that encompass everything from techno and punk to post-rock and fringe psychedelia.

One member, eifonen, has pursued vocal expression in various styles, including Khöömei, for over a decade, performing solo and collaborating with diverse artists.

The other member, ILLUS 2.0, has also spent ten years creating and performing music that blends techno-electronica with alternative rock.

The chemistry between these two has generated new music since their inception.
Over the past three years, ILLUS 2.0 has evolved from rhythm-centric tracks to more aggressive and danceable sounds,
while eifonen, with inexhaustible energy, continuously samples and manipulates his own voice using countless effects and loopers.
