Ryuichiro started his DJing career at university in New Zealand. The NZ students loved sheep more than Welsh men do, but small Ryuichiro wanted to explore something else. He had his first decent exposure to dance music from his mate, DJ Ty from Taiwan. DJ Ty taught him how to mix dance music, then how to make dance tunes.
Ryuichiro had a small toy called Yamaha QY70 and started making his own bubbling recipes. Gradually, he invested in more equipment and finally had high-rotation listed songs on a radio: 'rdu'. It attracted some attention from New Zealand labels and Pinacolada Records released a record for him.
Since that time his name and popularity has spread, and he went on to play at numerous outdoor parties in
New Zealand and other gigs. He then moved to the buzzing metropolis of Hong Kong and had residencies at clubs in Hong Kong, Macao and China. While he spinned Electro House, he also produced Drum and
Bass and some songs have been released in Taiwan and Thailand.
